Bar Daskal Is named after Vladimir Daskaloff, the grandfather of the bar’s owners, Sam and James Hart, and Anna Watkins, who grew up visiting him in Estellencs, and still visit the family home with their own families to this day.

The brief, to portray the artistic side of Daskal whose home inspired an abiding love of Spain, its produce and its culture in a simple one page website.

Through a combination of nostalgia, illustration and video, the site evokes the feeling of relaxing in an authentic spanish bar in the late afternoon Mallorcan sunshine.
