Strategy

Our direction for the Akì brand is rooted in contrast, where disciplined Japanese precision meets opulence and luxurious details. Tonal pillars and image codes guide experiences and touchpoints across the restaurant group — from menus to interiors, glassware to styling, photography to films. Visuals draw on art, nature and texture: muted earth tones, intricate craftsmanship, enhanced with curated lighting and subtle lavish touches.

Set in a reimagined Grade II-listed former bank in Marylebone, Akì is more than food: it’s a multi-sensory journey. Living up to its values and purpose, an in-house sustainable ecosystem provides the restaurant with seasonal herbs and vegetables, helping to reduce their environmental impact annd elevating every dish. Artworks and interiors blend nature and heritage, creating environments that invite you in, and keep you there.

The result is a restaurant that knows what it stands for and so do its diners; Akì London feels like a stage where food, art and design intertwine and while the brand writes a new chapter in its story, the restaurant quietly stakes its claim on London’s cultural dining scene.
